A 17-year-old girl has since been charged with running a red light after officers were made aware of the footage. She is due to appear at a parish hall inquiry in St Helier.
The clip shows Mrs Lucas crossing the road with her nine-week-old son Cameron and 2½-year-old daughter Ella in Cheapside. Mrs Lucas said that they were lucky to be alive following the close call which forced her to stop in the middle of the road to avoid her and the pushchair being hit.
