She began by setting out the scope of the panel’s work and how the hearings would proceed in the coming weeks.
Over the last few months there have been a number of calls for current and former Islanders who were involved with Jersey’s care system to give evidence.
Hearing dates have been set aside for 23, 24, 29, 30 and 31 July and 1, 5, 6, 7, 12, 13, 14 and 15 August.
These dates are subject to change at short notice and more will be added later this summer.
