Fisherman’s fine far too high, says court

He was fined after using his vessel six times without the correct paperwork between 8 and 14 September 2013 and for failing to comply

with the directions of the Harbourmaster at Bouley Bay.

Sullivan was fined £3,500 – £500 for each of the seven charges he admitted. But the Royal Court reduced that figure to a total of £700

following the appeal.
