‘Expensive to hugely excessive’ – cab fares in Jersey criticised

The consumer affairs body, which received more than 3,200 responses to its survey about transport in Jersey, says that fares should be displayed when someone gets into cabs, which are privately hired, and taxis, which can be hired from public ranks. It is also calling for greater transparency and improved monitoring of prices.
