More than 100 people turned up to watch the 11-a-side game, which finished 1-1.
The average age of the players was 50. The oldest Beeches Old Boy player was 66-year-old Bernie Arthur while the oldest Magpies player was 63-year-old Roy Bredonchel.
Mick Emmanuel, from Beeches Old Boys, said: ‘The veterans loved it. They all went to the bar afterwards and had a few drinks. It was just to celebrate the fact that we are both still alive. It is a wonderful achievement for both clubs.’
