Dog vaccine warning as east European link to the UK is revealed

The call follows reports that dogs are being brought from puppy farms in eastern European countries via the UK to Jersey.

Diseases include leishmania, dirofilaria, babesia and ehrlichia, all of which are present in many European countries and are transferred either by sandflies or ticks onto dogs.
