Exhibitor record for Boat Show

The annual show is the largest free-entry event in the Channel Islands with the number of people attending regularly topping 30,000.

The final programme of activities is currently being confirmed and as in previous years there will be water sports for people to try out. The Royal Navy will again have a strong presence.

Myra Shacklady, group commercial director for Ports of Jersey, said: ‘Since the show was first staged in 2008 it continues to go from strength to strength due in part to the sheer volume and enthusiasm of residents and visitors who see this as a perfect opportunity to blow away the winter blues.’

The event is to take place between Saturday 3 and Monday 5 May.
