Jersey Innovation Fund at the ready to back the next big idea

The Jersey Innovation Fund aims to help start-up businesses, established companies or those who may have the next big idea and will now consider the first round of submissions for those looking for a helping hand with their business.

The board is led by non-executive chairman Tim Herbert, a lawyer, who will be joined by entrepreneur Aaron Chatterley, who developed health and beauty supplier feelunique.com, finance and lending expert Peter Shirreffs, chartered accountant and businessman Dave Allen and JT’s chief relationship officer Tim Ringsdore.

Applications for the first round of funding, where companies can apply for up to £500,000, must be returned by Thursday 13 December.

Application forms are available from the gov.je website and questions about the process can be directed to Sean Pritchard, Economic Development’s policy director, on 440669 or by emailing s.pritchard@gov.je.
