Jonny Scott (28) has become a well-known face in the local Christian community, and is also co-director of Business Connect, the network set up in 2004 to link people and provide a forum for debate for matters relating to both business and faith.
Later this month he will leave Jersey with his wife and spend three years training at Ripon College, Cuddesdon, a theological college in the countryside near Oxford.
There he will become a curate and train to become a priest and hopes one day to return to Jersey to work.
