Ice Age Giants will feature many parts of the Island, including the area of La Cotte de St Brelade on the south coast that has been described as one of the ‘most important Neanderthal sites in the world’ by leading expert Dr Matt Pope.
Dr Pope, a senior research fellow of the Institute of Archaeology at the University of Central London, explained why Jersey was such a magnet for Neanderthal settlers.
