£10,000 sports bonanza

The JEP’s Kit4Clubs competition is back and a total of six cash prizes, ranging from £500 to £3,500, courtesy of Ogier are up for grabs.

All teams have to do is collect tokens printed daily in the JEP, the first of which is printed next Monday, and clubs even have a chance of winning £500 if they register by this Friday.

Information packs have been sent to eligible clubs this week and here is everything you need to know about the competition.

Kit4Clubs was launched for the first time last year. It works in a similar way to the JEP’s Cash4Schools competition and gives the Island’s sports clubs a chance to win a cash prize of up to £3,500.

It is sponsored by Ogier and clubs can spend the money on anything they think their members would benefit from.

Last year clubs spent the cash on things like a new strip, training equipment and renting indoor facilities for winter coaching sessions.

Clubs can register for the competition either online or by returning the registration form sent out in their information pack to the JEP by Friday.
