AN Islander who claims to be the illegitimate son of Princess Margaret has said that he is prepared to spend another £100,000 fighting for the truth.

Robert Brown, an accountant from St Lawrence, has spent the past nine years and thousands of pounds trying to get access to sensitive documents - including the wills of the Queen's sister and the Queen Mother - which he believes will prove that he is of royal descent.

The 57-year-old's beliefs about his secret past are based on memories he claims to have of being a child in Kenya. He says that it was there that the princess, who he claims covered up the later stages of her pregnancy using body doubles, told him that he was her son.
