A total of 724 people – believed to be the highest number in the walk’s 22-year history – completed the gruelling 48.1-mile route around Jersey’s coastline.
People from all around the world including South Africa, France, Germany, the Czech Republic and Canada took part.
The walk began at Elizabeth Terminal at 3 am when 1,024 brave souls set off walking anti-clockwise around the Island. Their route then took in St Catherine, the whole of the north coast, Grosnez, St Ouen’s Bay, Corbière, Noirmont and the final strait along St Aubin’s Bay.
