Trinity boss defiant on Island title ambitions

Despite having taken only five points from five games this season Reilly said: ‘It’s going to be an uphill struggle but it’s never over until it’s over.’

However, Scottish manager Pat Brennan took the opposite view and even though his team are currently above Trinity in the table he declared following their fourth draw of the season: ‘We’ve got no chance.

‘This is our worst start in 20 years, taking seven points from six games – we’ll do well to finish the season in the top half.’
