The Saints again showed their class on Saturday with a 4-1 quarter-final victory away to Guernsey Belgraves while their away defeats at the same stage for Trinity, 4-3 at Rangers, and Grouville, 4-2 at AFC St Martin’s.
Craig Leitch scored two penalties in his hat-trick for St Paul’s while Saints defender Scott Devlin had a mixed match by conceding a penalty and then scoring St Paul’s other goal.
St Paul’s assistant manager Martin Cassidy said: ‘I thought we dominated the game with some good football and we weren’t under too much pressure.’Teams can’t keep up with the pace we’re playing at and that is helping us to dominate games.’
