Tower were beaten 3-2, after leading 1-0, and after pulling back to 3-2 in the closing minutes they squandered three opportunities to have forced extra time.
Lester said: ‘I’ve not enjoyed a game as much as that for a very long time; there was some great football played by both teams and it was well refereed by Andy Norman.
‘Tom Hebert shot us ahead with a 30-yard right footer into a top corner but unfortunately we took our foot off the pedal and St Brelade were level within a few minutes.
