Perfect starts for Saints and Trinity

TRINITY and St Paul’s preserved their 100 per cent Coca-Cola Combination Premiership records from three and two games respectively on Saturday.

Scott Healey bagged a penalty kick in Rozel Rovers’ 3-1 home defeat by Trinity who registered their goals through Stephen Wilkinson, Stuart Knox and Barry Beatson.

St Paul’s, who have won all six matches they’ve played this season, kept a clean sheet for the first time in a 3-0 success at the IJ Bathe Field in St Saviour where Craig Russell, Carl McConnell and Luke McGlone were on target.

The Portuguese Club of Jersey have a three-point lead at the top of the Championship after returning 3-1 victors from St Lawrence. Jorge Marques, Manny Fernandes and Kamil Adamczuk were on target for the winners and Luke Moss for the losers.
