Condor Ferries are putting on a match-day special, priced £32.

The fast ferry leaves Jersey at 11.15 am arriving in Guernsey at 12.10.

It departs Guernsey at 7 pm.

There will also be extra capacity returning on the Clipper at 17.30 pm.

Around 300 day-trip packages will be available from Condor – also from 8.30 am on Tuesday.

Sponsors Cherry Godfrey have also announced today that they are offering a free ticket to all players who have played in a Muratti Vase final.

Match organiser Darren Duquemin said: ‘If the massive amount of phone calls about tickets that we have already received is anything to go by, we expect the match to sell out very, very quickly.

‘We’ve got just over 5,000 seats so we urge fans to get their tickets quickly.’ Tickets are £8, £10 and £12 and they go on sale on Tuesday at 8.30 am.

Tickets can not be reserved beforehand or purchased by telephone.

Past players will need to get their free tickets from Cherry Godfrey before the match is a sell-out and they will also be able to buy tickets for friends and family to sit with them.

Past players will need to provide proof of ID and also sign a form to say that the specially stamped ticket is for their own personal use.

Duquemin added: ‘It has always been Cherry Godfrey’s aim to make this match a special celebration of the Muratti’s rich history.

The free ticket offer to past players is an excellent and generous way of saying thank you to the real stars of the show’.

The Checkers family stand has been ear-marked for families with children while there will also be another designated stand that will provide supporters with the best possible disabled access.
