ISLANDERS were able to get into the Battle spirit on Tuesday with a mini-parade which made its way through the streets of St Helier.
The Battle of Flowers Town Parade saw bands and other entertainers head through town, promoting the Battle of Flowers.
The festival’s mascot – Battle Bee – was joined in the parade by Miss Aimee Le Brun, St Helier Constable Simon Crowcroft and the Poole-based Dolphin Marching Band, who are due to perform again in the Battle events.
The Battle of Flowers takes place on Thursday at 2.30 pm, followed by the Moonlight Parade on Friday night.
