Hundreds of people sat and soaked up the sun on Friday and Saturday and enjoyed live entertainment and Polish cuisine, as well as arts and crafts.
The two-day event was put on to raise funds for a newly-opened Polish culture centre, which will provide support to the Polish community and Islanders who are interested in Polish language and culture.
Magda Chmielewska, Polish consul and organiser of the festival, said: ‘It was really amazing. The Weighbridge was full of people and Friday was the best Friday we have ever had since we started organising the festival. I was amazed by how it went.’
