Around 250 players turned out for the event, making it the largest festival on record since it began in 2010.
Half Pints denied Rawlinson & Hunter a third consecutive title with a 4-1 victory, while there were also smiles on the faces of Cullompton B following their 7-1 defeat of Fiona’s Wonders in the women’s final.
BNP Paribas won the men’s tag competition thanks to a 2-1 win against RBC Wealth, and PwC overcame State Street Blues 4-3 in the inaugural corporate mixed tag tournament.
‘It was just a fantastic success all round,’ said JRA chairman Kevin Lemasney.
‘We were delighted to be able to manage a successful festival bearing in mind the record number of teams entering, and the feedback has been fantastic from the sponsors, supporters and visitors alike.
‘It has encouraged us to do bigger and better things for the next event on 15 July 2016.’
