It was the first time that the Prince’s Trust – an organisation that supports 16 to 25- year-olds not in education or employment – had organised such an initiative locally.
During the week, the Islanders sailed from Poole to Dartmouth and then to Teignmouth, Portland and back to Poole on a 72-foot sailing boat owned by the Ocean Youth Trust South.
