Jersey pearls for the Queen?

The Market Cross House store – the company’s first in the UK – represents a new phase of expansion for the family-run Island firm, which has been trading in pearl jewellery for three generations.

Director Mike Taylor said that half a million pounds had been invested in the new venture, which is on two levels and features bespoke cabinets and traditional features, including the original timber beams.

Jersey Pearl has four outlets around the Island, including the tourist attraction at the end of the Five Mile Road and the town shop, as well as in St Peter and at Gorey.
