The company was presented with the Best Go-Market Cloud Strategy Award at the inaugural Telco Cloud Forum Awards last month.
The judges said: ‘JT’s innovative gaming service illustrates how powerful the combination of cloud and networking assets can be when service providers really focus on market needs.’
The platform was launched in 2014 in response to the requirement for Cloud support for the global gaming sector and became the first of its kind to reach the approved standards after assessment by Alderney’s Gambling Control Commission.
Although based in the Channel Islands, it is part of a global cloud federation covering 24 countries and the company has invested over £50m in its Channel Islands data centre facilities and off-island fibre connectivity.
