The takeover of Ampersand Management for an undisclosed sum will extend the group’s presence in Switzerland and Africa and follows three acquisitions made since the group merged last year.
Ampersand has operations in Geneva and Mauritius and employs nine people.
The firm was established by Martyn Crespel and Jean-Paul Le Cocq, who are both from Jersey, and has built up significant experience working with international families in the Gulf who have Sharia requirements and Mr Crespel said that as a result of the takeover the Ampersand team would now be able to offer clients an increased range of products, services and jurisdictions.
