FIVE people have lost their jobs with immediate effect after camera retailer Jessops announced it was shutting all of its stores.

The chain, which employs almost 1,400 across the UK, went into administration earlier this week.

Its administrators, PricewaterhouseCoopers, made the announcement at around 4 pm yesterday afternoon and Jersey’s store immediately had to shut its doors.
